FirstKey Homes Activates Hurricane Helene Disaster Relief Program
(ATLANTA) Oct. 2, 2024 – FirstKey Homes announced today it has activated an employee giving program designed to support those impacted by Hurricane Helene across the southeastern United States.
FirstKey Homes has made financial donations to the following organizations and is inviting its employees to contribute as well:
Greater Good Charities, which works to help people, pets, and the planet by mobilizing after a disaster. The organization is on the ground in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina distributing survival kits and food, and providing volunteer services to assist those impacted by the storm.
SBP, which is a New Orleans-based disaster recovery organization that was founded after Hurricane Katrina. SBP has rebuilt homes for more than 2,000 families with the help of 130,000 volunteers in 16 communities across multiple states, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
FirstKey Homes employees also have the option to volunteer using specially designated time off allocated by the company.
