FirstKey Homes Partners with Feeding South Florida in the Fight Against Hunger
(Atlanta) - Atlanta-based FirstKey Homes announced today it recently partnered with Feeding South Florida to support local families and individuals suffering from food insecurity. More than a dozen locally based FirstKey Homes employees visited the charitable organization and prepared and shipped more than 5,000 boxes of food and personal hygiene items to families in need.
“Our team members in South Florida and across the country are always looking for ways to get involved and support the community,” said Darlene Laveaux, District Operations Director for FirstKey Homes. “We applaud Feeding South Florida’s mission of addressing this critical issue across the region.”
Feeding South Florida provides support for 25 percent of the state’s food insecure population throughout Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe Counties. Their mission is to end hunger in South Florida by providing immediate access to nutritious food, leading hunger and poverty advocacy efforts, and transforming lives through innovative programming and education.
FirstKey Homes has dozens of locally based employees across Florida, including Jacksonville, Tampa, Miami, Fort Myers and Orlando.
